How to Configure Installation Type for Omada Outdoor AP

Regulations on indoor/outdoor wireless use vary by region, impacting Omada Outdoor AP performance and compliance. If deployed incorrectly, certain 5GHz channels may be restricted. For example, in Germany, CE regulations prohibit outdoor use of UNII-1 and UNII-2A bands, while all UNII-1 to UNII-2C bands are allowed indoors. To ensure compliance and optimal performance, Omada Outdoor APs support Installation Type, allowing users to adjust settings based on deployment scenarios.
