Introduction

Omada EAPs provide wireless coverage solutions for small-medium business and households. They can either work independently as standalone APs or be centrally managed by an Omada Controller, providing a flexible, richly-functional but easily configured wireless network.

This article introduces how to quickly set up the Omada EAP in Standalone mode.

For advanced configurations, refer to the User Guide of the EAP. The guide can be found in the download center of our official website:

If you want to set up EAPs and other Omada devices in batch on an Omada Controller, refer to Getting started with an Omada Controller.

Configuration

In Standalone Mode, you can configure and manage your EAPs via the Omada app or a web browser, and each EAP has its own management page.

Set Up the EAP via the Omada App

The Omada App is designed to help you quickly configure common settings. If you want to configure advanced settings, use the EAP’s web page or use Controller Mode.

Step 1. Download and install the TP-Link Omada App from the App Store or Google Play or by scanning the QR code below.
